It was a historic day for Manchester City on Sunday as the club became the first to win the Premier League title four times in a row - and the celebrations rightly matched the level of that achievement.

Phil Foden's double helped fire City to the title with victory over West Ham. The England international struck twice within the opening 18 minutes, the first a superb curling effort, at the Etihad Stadium to lay the foundations for a 3-1 win.

Mohammed Kudus' spectacular strike pulled one back for the Hammers and briefly renewed hope for second-placed Arsenal, but midfielder Rodri made it 3-1 to ease any lingering nerves and effectively wrap up the title.

There were scenes of jubilation at the final whistle, as Kyle Walker lifted the trophy as captain following Ilkay Gundogan's departure last summer.

The celebrations didn't stop on the pitch though, with Ruben Dias and Rodri seen leading their teammates in a rendition of "Olé, Olé, Olé" in the City dressing room, while bottles of champagne were popped.

Foden ran for cover to avoid getting sprayed, while his teammates revelled in the moment, dancing and signing about their title win.

Jack Grealish lifted his third Premier League after arriving at the Etihad for a British record transfer fee of £100million in August 2021 from Aston Villa. Grealish has scored 14 goals and provided 18 assists across all competitions since joining Pep Guardiola's side.

And the forward expressed his delight at securing more silverware success with a historic fourth consecutive English top-flight league title. The England international has won the Premier League in every season since arriving in East Manchester and will look to help the champions secure a double next weekend against Manchester United in the FA Cup final.

"The best man in the world," he wrote during City's celebration party in a video on his Instagram stories followed by three blue love heart emojis. Grealish was referring to a member of City's backroom team who he filmed celebrating with.

Despite more trophy success at City, Grealish made just 10 league starts and a further 10 substitute appearances. The forward was again left on the bench during Sunday's win and told Sky Sports after the game that he wanted to play more.

"I don't feel like I've performed well this season at all," he said. "I performed better this year than my first year. That first year I just wanted to win no matter what. Last year I played more and this season has been stop-start. I played well in points.

"My standards are high so I feel like I could've played more in some games. I wanted to play as much as I could like last season. We have so many good players here so it's difficult. There's no team in the world that rotates like this team do, but that's the beauty of it."

Erling Haaland was pictured celebrating with fans while his dad, former City midfielder Alf Inge, took the opportunity to jump in the background of the snap.

While the players rightly celebrated their title win, attention will now turn to Saturday's FA Cup final against bitter rivals Manchester United at Wembley, where Pep Guardiola's side will be hoping to complete the double.
