More showers will fall in Greater Manchester today - after torrential rain hit our region last night and turned Parklife festival into a 'mud bath'.
Heavy downpours hit Manchester on Sunday evening (June 9) leaving crowds drenched on the second night of the huge music festival. Pictures and videos taken at Heaton Park showed sodden crowds, donning ponchos, leaving the swamped site.
Many left early with others huddling under trees as the 'biblical' rain lashed down. According to Met Office forecasters, more rain is expected in Greater Manchester today.

However, showers will not be as persistent with cloudier conditions also predicted. Forecasters predict a cloudy start to the morning with light showers expected at around 11am.
A heavy shower is then forecast at around 1pm. More light rain may then fall at around 6pm into the early evening.
Temperatures will reach a maximum of around 14C today, according to the Met Office. Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to be largely dry and cloudy, with average temperatures of around 14C forecast again.
But Thursday looks set to be another wet day with heavy rain expected for much of the day. On the overall forecast for the North West from Wednesday to Friday, forecasters said: "Largely dry and bright on Wednesday.
"Turning more unsettled on Thursday and Friday, with perhaps some heavy and persistent rain moving steadily eastwards. Cool at first, becoming milder by night."
