Guardians of the Galaxy 3: Everything you need to know

All eyes were on the return of Star-Lord and co in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, and in the wake of its success talk was already turning to a third film.

That film is on its way, with writer/director James Gunn back on board and already dropping a ton of hints about what might happen in Marvel Studios Phase Four's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3.

While an official cast announcement is probably a long way off, it's a safe bet that the core team will be back for the next movie. That's Star-Lord/Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax (Dave Bautista), Groot (voiced by Vin Diesel) and Rocket Raccoon (with the voice of Bradley Cooper and the motion capture talents of Sean Gunn), as well as villain-turned-ally Nebula (Karen Gillan).

Newcomer Mantis (Pom Klementieff) is back for Avengers: Infinity War, and Gunn has confirmed that she will survive that adventure and be back for Guardians 3.
