Harlesden shooting: Young child left fighting for life after four people gunned down in north west London

A young child is fighting for life today after four people were shot in north west London.

Police were called to Energen Close in Harlesden at about 9.45pm yesterday and found three adults and one child suffering gunshot injuries.

All four were taken to hospital, where the young child and one man remained in a critical condition today.

The two other victims, a man and a woman, suffered non life-threatening injuries.

Detectives are still hunting the gunman and there have been no arrests.

Extra stop and search powers and police patrols were in place across the borough of Brent overnight.

A dispersal zone has also been authorised for the Harlesden area.
