An abandoned school that is said to be ‘haunted’ will be the site of an exorcism by a team of paranormal investigators before it is torn down.

Ghostech Paranormal Investigations, who are said to be the UK’s leading exorcism team, will perform the ritual at Stacklands Retreat House - which is set to be demolished 11 years after it closed.

The mysterious Kent school has long been plagued by rumours that a group of priests were sacrificed there 80 years ago when its owner became obsessed with satanism - and now the paranormal team are set to uncover the truth before the building is consigned to history.

Lead investigator Jeff Young, 52, said: ‘We are going to gather as much overnight evidence at Stacklands Retreat House as we can.

‘We went there in the day time, and when we set up our cameras we picked up a woman’s voice saying devil worshipping had been going on, and there were orbs flying around my feet.’

Ghostech are renowned for their thorough investigations, and often use complex equipment including voice recorders, electronic voice phenomena and specialised cameras.

Jeff has even unearthed the death certificate of the supposedly satanic owner, along with prayers that were reportedly recited at the school.

Ghostech was first established in the US, but has continued to build a strong reputation for investigating unexplained phenomena in the UK.

Describing his own interest in the paranormal, Jeff said: ‘I had some strange experiences when I was a teenager.
‘I grew up seeing things, so I was interested in the paranormal from a
young age.’

He added: ‘We look at locations which have never been investigated before, to see if all this stuff is actually true. Because we’re not backed by any TV company, we won’t try and make things more exciting than they are. We show you everything.’

A planning application has been submitted to demolish the retreat house and outbuildings, but it is to yet be accepted.

Ghostech will carry out a night investigation at Stacklands in the coming weeks.
