Heavy rain pelted the southern Jamaican coast as Hurricane Beryl slammed the island on Wednesday, July 3.

Footage filmed and posted to X by user @OKAMAI shows torrential rain and gusty wind in Kingston, Jamaica, on Wednesday. According to the National Hurricane Center, the eyewall of the Category 4 hurricane was brushing the south coast of Jamaica on Wednesday afternoon.
