In a post to her one million followers on Instagram, the 31-year-old actor said she has mixed feelings about the prospect of stopping nursing her child.

"I’m not too sure when our feeding journey will come to an end. I am thinking I will keep nursing through the summer," she wrote.

Flanagan added: "I love breastfeeding as I like the bonding (I know you can bond with your babies in lots of ways of course). I like that it’s just something that I can do and that my baby needs just me.

"He’s likely my last baby and I want to soak this all up. I feel quite emotional about stopping."

The star said that breastfeeding "calms me if I feel anxious", but said there are things she'll be able to enjoy when she stops doing it.

Flanagan said: "I miss being able to have more time on my own with Scott, being on my own (not for a long period I suppose just having more freedom), being able to take the girls for one and one trips on their own.

"I would say having perky boobs but that’s a long time gone now."
