These Herefordshire chiefs should be sacked for their neglect!

I TOTALLY agree with the three people in your article who are disgusted with the state of the roads in Herefordshire (Fix potholes... or I won’t pay my tax! April 11).

I don’t believe that Herefordshire Council is fulfilling its obligation to council taxpayers with regard to the lower than Third World quality of the county roads.

They extract millions from the taxpayers as well as receiving more millions from the Government in grants to maintain and repair the roads of Herefordshire but waste it on frivolous schemes of their own desire.

They totally neglect the infrastructure in favour of cycle lanes and other beautification projects at the expense of the basic requirements of the transport.

Those responsible should be sacked and replaced with somebody who knows what they are doing. As for Balfour Beatty Living Places, I question their commitment to road repairs.
