'High value' pushbikes stolen from Midlands property as police issue alert

Police have launched an appeal after a number of 'high value' bicycles were stolen from a shed at a West Midlands home. The bicycles were swiped from an address on Hagley Drive in the Rugeley area of Staffordshire.

The county's police force, Staffordshire Police, say the break-in took place sometime between 11pm on Tuesday, July 2, and 11am, Wednesday, July 3. Officers have appealed for anyone with information and those with CCTV footage to get in touch.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "Between 23:00 on Tuesday 2nd July and 11:00 on Wednesday 3rd July a shed has been broken into at an address on Hagley Drive in Rugeley. A number of high-value pushbikes have been stolen."

The force added: "Officers are carrying out an investigation and are appealing to anyone that may have CCTV or information to get in touch. Our incident number is 0482 of the 3rd of July."
