Hilarious Auto-Correct Fail Sees Blonde Figurine On Birthday Cake End Up As Something Completely Different

Damn you auto-correct!

A Scottish mum was left seriously confused after the cake she’d ordered for her daughter’s 21st birthday arrived with a figurine of a blind girl, complete with white cane, on top.

Marie Seggie had explicitly asked her friend to make the figure blonde.

But she then checked through her texts, and soon realised to her horror that predictive messaging was to blame.

The automatic feature had for some reason changed her request of “blonde” to “blind” - and her pal didn’t call up to double check.

She still presented birthday girl Laura with the creation.

And she couldn’t have been happier, with her 17-year-old sister Emily yesterday tweeting the hilarious image which has since gone viral.

“My mum ordered a cake for my sisters bd n asked for a blond girl on top but it autocorrected to blind n we got this,” wrote Emily Seggie, from Lanarkshire.

The snap has been retweeted more than 7,600 times, and favourited 12,000.

“My mum’s friend baked the cake and at the last minute she text her to ask for a blonde girl on top,” Emily told Metro.

“The text must have autocorrected to ‘blind girl’ and when my mum went to collect it she was wondered why it wasn’t blonde,” she added.
