Hilarious moment tabby cat leaps up to switch off ceiling light

This tabby cat was caught on camera leaping onto a ceiling fan - and managed to turn off the entire fan and light.

Irritated by the bug, Crawley jumped from his owner's bed onto the fan and snagged the light cord on his way up.

The feline's owner Brandy Failach dissolved into giggles as the bedroom suddenly went dark.

Brandy, 39, of Farmington, Illinois, said: "It was freaking cool and I got it on camera too."

She added that Crawley gets up to other hijinks too.

"He'll come up to me every morning and paw at my blanket to pull it down.

"Once he does, he'll put his head on my head to get my attention."
