Holly Willoughby in Love Island fury: This Morning host lets rip at ‘smirking’ Adam live on air

Holly Willoughby has gone all Dani Dyer on Adam as she laid into the snakey personal trainer on This Morning.

Willoughby, 37, voiced her dislike for the 22-year-old after he bragged to Rosie about his “good date” with Zara before smirking in the face of her tears as she confronted him about dropping her for the newcomer.

Viewers slated him. Dani looked ready to take him on, and now Willoughby has let rip. Speaking on This Morning she said: “We could all see it coming, because clearly he is that type of character. But what I don’t like is that he didn’t face it.

“He should have said ‘look my head’s been turned, I’m really sorry’ – just be a bit more open.”

She continued: “Smirking is just not good and making her feel like she’s going mad saying ‘see what she’s like, nightmare, I’m glad I got rid of that’. I hate that.”

Playing devil’s advocate, co-host Phillip Schofield said: “But if that happened in the real world he could see one girl on a Friday night in a club and then on Saturday night go to another club and see another girl and nobody would know.

“They’re all living under the same roof. They all know what he’s like. Don’t get involved.”

Explaining how the girls keep falling at his feet, Willoughby said: “But he reels them in by being kind sometimes.”

She then reached out to his family, saying: “If Adam’s family are watching we’d love to know what you really think.”

His family have been trolled by fans after they appeared to defend Adam’s actions on Tuesday night’s episode.

A message claiming to be from Adam’s family was posted on Twitter. It read: “Even us at home really don’t agree with what Adam’s been doing the house. Actually feel sorry for Rosie. No remorse. Families not happy with his actions.”

But within hours, they denied that the comments came from them, posting: “We have NOT issued this and would NOT condone these comments at all! Say what you will this as a reality game show!”

Fans hit back with many saying Adam’s family “should be ashamed”. Others called on Dani’s dad Danny Dyer to head in and “sort him out”.

Love Island is on ITV2, tonight at 9pm.
