Nancy Hayton is facing serious pregnancy complications following her stabbing in Hollyoaks.

The Hollyoaks High teacher was stabbed in the leg by drug dealer Mason while trying to break up his brawl with Imran (Ijaz Rana) earlier in the week.

In Wednesday's (January 29) first-look episode, Nancy was rushed to the hospital, where Kyle Kelly (Adam Rickitt) was relieved to hear the baby would be okay.

Nancy was given a walking aid and released to go home for some rest and relaxation, though tragedy struck shortly after Kyle confided in her he was the happiest he'd ever been in his life.

As Nancy was walking across the living room, she suddenly felt severe pain. Kyle rushed to her side, crying out for Charlie (Charlie Behan) to call for help.

"I think I'm losing the baby," Nancy worriedly told Kyle.

Elsewhere in Tuesday's first-look episode, PC George Kiss (Callum Kerr) arrived at the school to begin his investigation into the stabbing as both Sid and Imran were questioned over the brawl.

Budding drug kingpin Jordan Price (Connor Calland) was furious with his dealer Mason over the stabbing, though it didn't stop him from moving forward with his plans to recruit Juliet (Niamh Blackshaw).
