Home and Away is lining up a romantic twist for Ari Parata (Rob Kipa-Williams) and an old flame of his.
Anna Samson is set to join the Australian soap as Mia Anderson, who viewers will soon learn has a history with Ari. And it seems like they'll get things going pretty quickly upon her arrival in Summer Bay.
In new images revealed by the Daily Mail, the two characters are seen kissing on the beach.
Ari dated Mia years ago and their relationship was hit by tragedy when they lost a baby boy together.
Ari will struggle to deal with the situation, which previously led him down a self-destructive path and ultimately culminated in him serving a prison sentence.
Mia is now back in the Bay with Chloe (Sam Barrett), her grown-up daughter from another past relationship.
The single mum originally moved Chloe away for a fresh start following Ari's imprisonment, cutting her off from the father figure in her life.
It remains to be seen how Ari's relationship with Mackenzie Booth will be affected by their arrival, but given that he's now been pictured kissing Mia, we can probably expect him to reunite with his old flame at some point this year.
Meanwhile, Chloe is ultimately expected to become a love interest for Ryder Jackson (Lukas Radovich).
Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and returns on Monday, February 1 at 7pm on Channel 7 (Australia).
