Huge vegan festival coming to Paisley for food fans with over 80 stalls

A huge celebration of Scottish vegan food, merch and products is heading to Paisley this weekend.

Glasgow's plant-based food fans can enjoy over 80 stalls from vendors embracing the vegan lifestyle at the event which runs at the Paisley Lagoon Sports Centre on Saturday, July 6.

Running from 10.30am until 4.30pm, the Scotland Vegan Festival is part of a larger tour which holds events up and down the country and will see the festival also return to Glasgow's Pollok Park in October.

Tickets for the Paisley event are priced at £5 (under 16s go free) or £15 for VIP tickets from eventbrite, which also include a goody bag full of vegan products, samples, discounts and offers.

Founded in 2017, the firm behind the tour, Vegan Events UK, said that each event helps to support small businesses, stating: "Our events provide customers with a one-stop shopping experience where all of your vegan products and services can be found in one place.

"We aim to educate people about what veganism is and to show people how easy, affordable, healthy and varied living a vegan lifestyle can be."
