Hull City will face Italian giants Fiorentina in a pre-season friendly as part of their preparations for the 2024/25 season. The Tigers will welcome La Viola to the MKM Stadium on Tuesday, July 30, kick-off 7:45pm.

Fiorentina, who recently appointed Raffaele Palladino as head coach, finished eighth in Serie A last term. They also reached the Europa Conference League final, losing to Olympiacos, having been beaten by West Ham United the previous year.

City, who have played Fiorentina once before, a 1-0 defeat in the 1973 Anglo Italian Cup, say "ticketing and streaming information and further friendlies will be confirmed in due course". The Tigers last faced Italian opposition in 2009, drawing 2-2 with Atalanta in the Achille Cesare Bortolotti Trophy before losing 5-3 on penalties.
