The latest I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! trial proved a big hit with viewers as David Ginola and Danny Miller attempted to win stars for the camp.

For the ‘Drawbridge Over Troubled Water’ task the former footballer and Emmerdale actor took turns transporting wine in a bowl on their heads to a tube, with the more liquid poured in the more meals they would win for their fellow contestants.

However, they had to trek through a pool of slime on their way before getting on a treadmill as logs swung at them as their teammate was drenched with slime on the sidelines.

While Danny managed to quickly master the challenge, David struggled to keep his balance on the moving platform and fell over multiple times - much to the delight of Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.

Those watching at home were quick to brand it their “favourite” of the current series as others made comparisons with fan-favourite trial ‘Celebrity Cyclone’, which typically happens with the final few contestants.

“This is my favourite trial of the series. The random sliming of the person not running on the bridge is just classic,” one mused.

“LOVED that trial!! Reminded me of the cyclone,”a second shared on Twitter.

A third added: “Well done Danny!! That was brilliant! David, bless him he tried... but he was awful. So funny though and my favourite trial so far..”

Despite David’s struggles, the pair pulled together to win all seven stars on offer.
