During a live interview on Good Morning Britain, host Susanna Reid had to intervene.

Riverdance star Michael Flatley, who is recovering from cancer after successful surgery, shared his suspicion that his castle home rumoured to be worth a whopping £25million may be to blame for his illness.

Disclosing his thoughts about his health situation, he said: "I was one of the fittest people in Ireland. But when we moved back in I never felt right, and all of a sudden I got cancer. All of a sudden I've developed asthma too. We must have been breathing in toxins. We were told to leave immediately and we've been living in hotels ever since."

In the appearance on GMB today, where he provided a health update to hosts Susanna and Martin Lewis, Michael echoed these sentiments. He also shared information about his new show, where he features as a hologram.

Nevertheless, Susanna had to momentarily halt the conversation while Michael named the company and architect associated with his estates construction. On sharing these names, she intervened, explaining that they "didn't know the full story" and had yet to receive a sufficient response from the involved parties, reports the Mirror.

In a prior discussion, Michael acknowledged feeling thankful to carry out his professional activities

"God gave me this little bit of talent to share with the world. He challenged me by knocking me off my high horse when I got fired from Riverdance and gave me the chance to come back and do it all again. My reward was my beautiful wife and son. Who could have imagined an Irish jig would outsell the biggest rock bands in the world? I'm proud of that and all the dancers who give everything to help me achieve my dream," he shared, reflecting on his impressive career and the highs and lows that came with it.

Michael also opened up about the emotional difficulty of not being able to reside in his own house, stating: "I've put an absolute fortune and all my love, energy and focus into that home for 25 years. I've brought it back to life. It's heartbreaking."
