Jacinda Ardern Addresses Trade Union Ahead of Election

With three days to go until New Zealand’s general election, Labour leader Jacinda Ardern addressed union workers in Auckland on September 20.

Ardern spoke to members of First Union, a trade union made up of financial, industrial, retail and transport workers and was the first union she joined. The Labour leader promised to increase the country’s minimum wage, ensure all government workers earn a living wage and ban foreign property buyers.
