Jared Leto has hinted he'll be making a return to the DC Universe as the Joker, but he's decided to keep anything he knows to himself.

It seems he might have had a little telling-off for dropping a few teasers here and there, by the sounds of things.

"Talking about Joker is like talking about Fight Club: unless you want to gargle your testicles, it's probably better to leave it," he told ET Canada.

"He's liable to jump out of the cupboard and just start having fun."

He previously teased his DC comeback by posting a really cool picture of the Joker and Batman at each other's throats.

There's a huge chance that the Clown Prince of Crime could meet the Dark Knight at some point soon as there's plenty of Batman films pencilled in.

It would be pretty awesome to see a battle of Leto's Joker and Ben Affleck's Batman, BUT Joe Manganiello's Deathstroke has long been rumoured as the main villain in the upcoming The Batman.

And there's also been whispers there may actually be a spinoff pitting The Joker against his love Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) with DC veteran Geoff Johns lined up to produce. Which sounds like it could be amazing.

If not, he can always pop in and see Harley in her own Suicide Squad spinoff Gotham City Sirens, or there's a Nightwing movie in development as well as Joss Whedon's Batgirl.

So, we're sure he'll pop up somewhere...
