Jennifer Lawrence's ring sparks engagement rumours

Jennifer Lawrence clearly needs to take her ring back to Argos.

The Hollywood actress has sparked all manner of rumours by wearing a stunning sparkler on her middle finger – before later switching it to her WEDDING finger. So either her ring needs a little adjustment, or she’s only gone and got ENGAGED!

Er, well, it’s probably the former actually. J-Law has since denied that her boyfriend Darren Aronofsky has popped the question. Boooo!

The Hunger Games star was snapped appearing to cover up the ring while on a press trip to Madrid yesterday – just hours after the sparkler was spotted on a different finger altogether. 26-year-old Jennifer has been dating film director Darren, who’s 21 years her senior, since August.

Jennifer last dated Coldplay warbler Chris Martin following his split from Gwyneth Paltrow. However, chums reckon with Darren it’s totally different.

“She struggled when she dated Chris and seemed very stressed out,” an insider said. ”With Darren, it will probably be different. He does not attract attention like Chris does.

Jen and Darren, who has a 10-year-old son with actress Rachel Weisz, were first spotted together on a night out in New York in the summer. They’ve still yet to confirm they’re actually even TOGETHER, let alone dating, so perhaps rumours of wedding bells were just a wee bit premature.
