The following article contains allegations of sexual misconduct that some readers may find distressing.

Jeremy Piven has denied new allegations of sexual misconduct which have been brought against him by three women.

These follow previous allegations from the end of last year, all regarding historic sexual assault.

The new claims have been reported by Buzzfeed News, who spoke to three different women over the course of two months.

It is reported that the women "felt compelled to share their experiences because they were frustrated with Piven's past denials".

One of the women said that Piven had followed her into a trailer on a film set and pinned her down in 1985.

Another reported that the former Entourage star had pushed her against the wall in a hotel room in 1994, while the third said he had exposed himself to her in 1996 while at his home.

The actor has denied the claims to Buzzfeed News, saying "These allegations, which in one case goes back more than 30 years and the two others more than 20 years ago, are false.

"As evidenced by the lie detector test I took and passed, I have never forced myself on anyone, nor have I ever exposed myself or restrained anyone against their will. To the contrary, if any woman ever said no, I stopped."

When the first claims emerged last year, Piven told Digital Spy: "I unequivocally deny the appalling allegations being peddled about me. It did not happen.

"It takes a great deal of courage for victims to come forward with their histories, and my hope is that the allegations about me that didn't happen, do not detract from stories that should be heard."

The actor also shared on Instagram that he had undertaken – and passed – a polygraph test in which he said that he had never touched a woman's genitals without her consent or used force to take sexual advantage of a woman.
