Jimmy Savile ‘Boasted He Had Vasectomy To Avoid Impregnating Victims’

Jimmy Savile boasted he had a vasectomy so his victims could not get pregnant, a BBC documentary will claim tonight.

A former medical secretary says the DJ made the claim after he raped her when she was 24.

The woman, identified only as Pauline, was attacked by Savile, below, in Leeds when she was 24.

She told the programme that she went to the star’s mother’s house, for a cup of tea, before being raped.

In BBC programme Abused: The Untold Story she said: “I think he might have seen the look of sheer horror on my face, and he said, ‘Don’t worry, I’ve had a vasectomy’, and I just froze.”

Abuse lawyer Liz Dux, who represents 168 of Savile’s victims, said: “He was an evil predator who clearly planned with careful precision how he could rape and abuse without ever facing the consequences of his sick crimes.”

The documentary looks at the Operation Yewtree police investigation from his victims’ perspectives.

Another victim Dee Coles added about the DJ, pictured above with Margaret Thatcher at an anti-child abuse fundraiser: “Living with such a secret for over 40 years made me weak. Now I’m pretty proud of speaking out.”

While Savile is thought to have assaulted at least 450 victims, including many adults, he is not thought to have fathered any children.

The documentary, on BBC One tonight at 8.30pm, has been hailed by BBC director general Lord Hall of Birkenhead as evidence it will take child abuse seriously after failing to stop Savile’s abuses.
