Jobseekers in Grimsby and North East Lincolnshire struggling to find entry-level roles might be inspired by these jobs with highly respected brands.

Grimsby Live has found several household names, such as Iceland and Wickes, have recently put up job listings on their websites. If you are quick, you could be among the first to apply.

Home Delivery Driver - Iceland, Freeman Street

Iceland Foods are looking for a driver in the Grimsby area. The job listing says it is ideal for someone who "loves the open road" and has good people skills.

It reads: "Our Home Delivery Drivers are ambassadors for our business. In this role you’ll be delivering shopping to customers doors, providing exceptional levels of customer service and connecting directly with our customers as the face of Iceland.

"We are looking for a real self-starter, someone who enjoys juggling a hectic workload, puts customers first and provides the best service to make a difference, despite the daily challenges you can expect on the road.

"As part of your role as a Home Delivery Driver, you will also have a part to play with the wider store operation. We will need you to lend a hand when it’s needed; so whether that’s jumping on the checkout, or packing out stock, you will need to be a team player and provide our customers with the very best service."

Kitchen Team Member – Grimsby Premier Inn Hotel

Offering a permanent contract with "no chef experience needed" is this listing for a Kitchen Team Member at Premier Inn Grimsby. The pay is from £11.49 up to £11.79 per hour and benefits include 60% off Premier Inn rooms and 25% off meals in Whitbread Restaurants.

The brand behind Yo! Sushi is looking for a new team member to run a kiosk in Grimsby. This included preparing food and serving customers.

Customer Service Assistant jobs at Wickes - Grimsby and Scunthorpe

Wickes has two job listings for Customer Service Assistant, one in Grimsby and one in Scunthorpe. The pay is £11.44 per hour (depending on age).

The listing says: "Whatever your role in and around the store, everything you do will be focused on the customer experience. Parking will be a breeze, trolleys in easy reach, help always at hand, stock in the right place, deliveries out on time and payment met with a smile.Of course, while you’re creating a helpful and friendly customer experience, we’ll be thinking of new ways to reward, develop and invest in you.
