Our first look at Paddy Considine's latest project Journeyman has arrived, and we reckon it's one of the most heartbreaking trailers we've seen all year.

The movie, which also stars Doctor Who's Jodie Whittaker, follows Considine as a middleweight boxer who is forced to rebuild his life after suffering terrible injuries.

Have a watch of the trailer below. You will definitely want to get a tissue or two for this one.

Considering Paddy wrote, directed and starred in the film, we reckon it's safe to say he's a master of all trades, not a Jack.

That's not all the Peaky Blinders star has turned his hand to recently, as the actor is due to appear in an upcoming, and typically gritty, new series on BBC One.

Paddy will star as counter-terrorism officer Gabe in the series Informer, which follows Gabe as he coerces a young, second-generation Pakistani man to go undercover and inform for him.

Gabe has a past he's reluctant to expose, but his new and ambitious partner Holly (Bel Powley) soon becomes a dangerous threat to his secrecy.

Described as a sophisticated and character-driven look at identity and taking sides, we can't wait to get hooked on Informer when it reaches our screens at some point next year.

If you'd rather stick to Paddy's hard-hitting drama, then you can catch Journeyman in UK cinemas on February 16 next year. A Valentine's treat, perhaps?
