Josie Gibson has confirmed she's returning to This Morning next week as presenting duo Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard take a break. The I'm A Celebrity star will be hosting the ITV daytime show alongside Dermot O'Leary throughout the school holidays.

The 39-year-old was a regular presenter on the programme following the exits of Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby last year, often presenting alongside Dermot, Craig Doyle, Alison Hammond, Rylan Clark, and Martin Lewis while the show looked for replacements. In March Good Morning Britain's Ben and So You Think You Dance host Cat permanently took over the roles with Alison and Dermot hosting on Fridays as usual.

However Josie has delighted fans by confirming she'll be back on the show covering Cat and Ben alongside Dermot. After appearing for a segment on household hacks Josie took to Instagram to reveal she'd be back for a full week, delighting fans in the process.

She added: "I will be back next week to cover the holidays with @dermotoleary I can not wait...see you soon!!!!! Think the dress is @veryuk." Josie finished off the post with the hashtag 'happy days'.

Commenting on the post, one fan wrote: "Ahhhhhhhh Josie you're much better than just a stand in for the holidays. It's time ITV noticed that," while another added: "Absolutely love seeing you on TV Josie, you’re so authentic and relatable. Love that despite being in the industry you have remained yourself, which can’t always be that easy. Love love love."

"Wish you were on every day I would watch it then," said a third, while a fourth commented: "Love you Josie you are a great presenter. Think you and Dermot are a great team. Look forward to seeing you both next week. Best wishes." You can keep up to date with the latest TV and showbiz news by signing up to the newsletter here.
