ITV Loose Women presenter says 'the time has come to part ways' as she quits show

Loose Women presenter Sophie Morgan is parting ways with the programme. The television star joined the famous ITV panel in November 2021 but is quitting the show to pursue other projects.

Sophie shared the news with her 103k followers on Instagram as part of a big life update where she shared that she was moving to America and that she will be based between London and LA for the foreseeable. She also revealed she'd landed the "biggest broadcasting gig of her career," but kept details of the new job under wraps.

While listing new and upcoming projects, Sophie also took time to provide and update on her Loose Women future. In the post, Sophie said: "I also wanted to update you on the latest with Loose Women. Whilst I had an incredible time working there (it was a dream platform for a disabled woman with a lot to say), the time has come to part ways.

"I am very proud to have been part of their groundbreaking work, including campaigns such as 'Body Stories' – which celebrated body diversity & confidence – 'Facing It Together' – a campaign about domestic abuse – & of course, my baby, 'Rights on Flights', which was born on the show last year. I hope many more Disabled and underrepresented women get the chance to be on the panel to help, educate and inform."

Sophie was flooded with support, as one fan wrote: "You’re amazing. So happy for you in sunshiney LA and look forward to hearing about this broadcasting gig."

While another added: "Congratulations! Wow you have so much amazing times ahead!Will miss you on Loose Women too!! Good Luck in US!"
