Julia Bradbury fans praise 'inspiring' star as she signs up for Full Monty after cancer fight

The TV presenter will bare all on the show this Christmas

Julia Bradbury’s fans have called her a “superstar” after she signed up for The Real Full Monty following her cancer battle.

The Countryfile presenter, 53, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021 and has since undergone a mastectomy and reconstruction.

She has recently said her illness gave her the opportunity to think about her life and make some changes.

And Bradbury’s latest step is stripping off and baring all for the TV show this Christmas, in a bid to raise awareness of life-saving cancer checks.

She joins the likes of Gemma Collins and Paul Burrell for the series, and told fans: “I am excited, proud and weeing myself a bit, when I tell you that I will be performing my first ever TV dance routine & strip with this brave & inspiring group of people for @itv.

“We are doing it to raise awareness of all sorts of cancers and we all have a deeply personal story to share.”

“Prepare to laugh and cry,” added the presenter, who is mum to 12-year-old son Zeph and eight-year-old twin girls Zena and Xanthe.

Bradbury’s friends and fans flocked to applaud her for her decision after she shared the news on Instagram.

“Good for you!” one posted, while another said it was “brilliant”.

“OMG brava you,” said another fan.

One called Bradburry a “superstar” while others said that she was “an inspiration”

“YESSSSSS!!” said someone else, who added that they were “so proud” of the TV star.

Another fan posted: “Oh wow this is going to be incredible, thank you, all of you. I see you, for raising more awareness every day.”

“You are a true star, a hero,” said somebody else.

Other stars set to strip for The Real Full Monty this year include Vanessa Bauer, Victoria Ekanoye, Ben Cohen, Sherrie Hewson, Ashley Cain, Nick Collier and Pete Wicks.
