Kardashians to leave Earth? Kris Jenner 'wants to film KUWTK episode in space'

The Kardashian family are known for their out of this world antics – and they could literally be filming them in space soon.

Kris Jenner is said to be keen to fly the family further than she ever has before to shoot an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashianswhich recently celebrated its 10th anniversary – on Richard Branson’s Virgin space shuttle.

Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian West could be heading into space soon

An insider close to Kris told heat magazine: “Kris is fascinated by outer space, and is looking into paying for her and the family to be among the first passengers on Virgin’s commercial space shuttle.

“Kris just signed a $150 million deal that will keep their reality show until the end of 2019. The pressure is on to keep things exciting, and what better way than by filming an episode in space?

“They’d be the first family to orbit the planet, and Kris is convinced she’s hit on the ultimate storyline.”

The famous family’s chances of being beamed up in a Virgin Galactic shuttle could be increased by the fact Kris knows Virgin owner Richard and is said to have been buttering him up to better the clan’s chances of departing Earth for the special episode.

The insider added: “It’s definitely an ambitious ask, but it’s not like Kris isn’t willing to pay for it. At this point, the only issue is Richard and the space programme.

“He’s already three years behind launching the first civilian trip and there are still problems to address. He says it will happen by the end of the year – and the Kardashians could be first on the passenger list.”

The Kardashians are known for their out of this world antics.

But the Kardashian klan – made up of sisters Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, as well as their half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner – may not be the first celebs in space.

Several stars, including the likes of Angelina Jolie and Leonardo DiCaprio are said to have pre-purchased tickets with Virgin Galactic, and David Guetta has already made plans about playing a gig in space.

He recently said: “I spoke with the people from Virgin Galactic at some point and we did speak about a show in space. That would be pretty cool.”
