Yahoo News Kate Middleton serves up some ski slope style inspiration in a red puffer jacket
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have had a full-on day today as they kicked off their Midlands tour with a trip to Birmingham.
This morning the couple visited the Land Rover Jaguar plant in Solihull, where pregnant Kate expertly covered up her baby bump in a loose-fitting coat by British designer Goat and a pair of Russell & Bromley knee-high boots.
But their royal duties did not stop there.
The afternoon saw them head to Villa Park in order to let Aston Villa fan Prince William have a kick around the pitch and to see the work of their Coach Core program.
The Duke and Duchess both made a quick change into something a little sportier for their afternoon activity, with Kate swapping her knee-high boots for a pair of more appropriate New Balance trainers.
Kate also changed into a pair of tight fitting black trousers and a polo neck, showing off her growing baby bump.
However, it wasn't the Duchess's baby bump that was getting all the attention, but rather her pillar box red puffer jacket.
It's no secret that puffer jackets are a massive style trend this season, with Kate's being the perfect show-stopping design.
The cosy looking outerwear is by the independent brand Perfect Moment, and is actually a ski jacket called the 'Mini Duvet'.
Kate isn't the only fan of the stylish skiwear brand, with Poppy Delevingne and Kourtney Kardashian being just a few of their other A-list fans.
