Yahoo News Katie Price announces arrival of another new dog – and fans aren't happy
Katie Price has never hidden her love of animals. But with the news that she’s now got yet another dog, her fans are wondering if she really needs to add any more animals to her household.
Price announced the arrival of her new black German Shepherd on Instagram yesterday. Saying, “Meet Blade our new family protection dog@protectiondogworldwide doing our first training session together this morning !xxx
Her two other dogs - Bear and Sparkle – have not featured on the Loose Women presenter’s Instagram in recent weeks, provoking some fans to question whether she still owns them. Comments on the new post included, “How long will this dog last,” with another adding “You didn’t even look after the dogs you had 🤦♀️ family protection dog ffs the dog needs protecting from you!!!”
It is believed, though not confirmed, that Price no longer has the puppy she got just before Christmas, as it had run away several times.

Back in February, one concerned neighbour commented on a picture of the pooches, “We saw them dogs walking out onto the dual carriage way just outside your house, the pup ran off the older one stayed, I do hope they are okay?”
The Sun is reporting that the new addition is a guard dog, which Price has acquired to help her daughter Princess. The family were carjacked when they were visiting South Africa last year, and the little girl is still traumatised after the incident.
“I will feel safer and so will Princess as she still suffers from the hijack at gun point we had in South Africa when filming last year.”
The Celebrity Big Brother winner was left devastated last year when her dog, Queenie, was knocked down by a hit and run driver and left injured in the road. Price said they only learnt of the dog’s fate due to security footage which captured the incident.
At the time, she posted a picture of herself with Queenie, explaining what had happened. “She was killed by a heartless delivery driver who ran into our dog seeing her struggle and drove off without telling us and left her to die.”

Price has made the news in the last couple of months because of her financial problems. She is hoping to buy a pub to rebuild her bank accounts this year.
