Katie Price sets the record straight on Gretna Green wedding rumours

Katie Price has rubbished reports that she is eloping to Gretna Green to get married.

There have been rumours that the star is planning to walk down the aisle with on-off beau Carl Woods, who she is thought to be back together with.

However, Price has set the record straight on her podcast The Katie Price Show, asking: “Where do they get their stories from?”

“Apparently I am getting married at Gretna Green, getting swept away because mum doesn’t agree with it,” said the mum-of-five.

“They said that he swept me away to Ibiza, I was there doing a favour for a friend, for an opening, and they make a story up.

“Let me tell everyone, when I get married next, my mother will be there, my family will be there.

“Why would I get married without my family there?”

“I just wanted to clear that up,” Price told her sister Sophie, who she does the podcast with.

“All these stories, it’s a joke," she added.

Price has been married three times before – first to Mysterious Girl singer Peter Andre from 2005 to 2009, then to Alex Reid from 2010 to 2011 and to Kieran Hayler from 2013 to 2021.

The 45-year-old recently said she would be open to tying the knot again but that her groom would have to “tick the right boxes”.

“Because I’m just sick of these cling-ons who turn into Mr Prices, who turn on their ‘Wanna to be famous’,” she said on her podcast.

“I just want to meet someone who wants me for me.”
