With the warmer returning and as always plans needing to be made to entertain the family, a popular Glasgow festival might just have the answer.

WestFest, which takes place from June 1 to 30, will offer around 150 events across 60 venues, featuring a colourful mix of street festivals, concerts, performances, recitals, galas and exhibitions; across music, theatre, comedy and visual art.

And one of the most fun-sounding, without a doubt has to be the huge free silent disco taking place in Kelvingrove Park.

It'll give families the chance to boogie the afternoon away together in one of the city's most enjoyable green spaces.
