FOUND: Kent Police urge public to ring 999 if they see missing Maidstone teenagers

Police said the girl had been found 'safe and well'

UPDATE: The two teenagers who were missing from Maidstone after getting on a train together have been found. Kent Police thanked the public for sharing its appeal.

The boy and girl were believed to have been together and were last known to have caught the train from Aylesford at around 9.15am on Monday (July 1) on a service for Strood.

Police issued full descriptions of the pair including the clothes they were last seen wearing. There were concerns for both children’s welfare. Anyone with information was urged to call 999, quoting reference 01-0335, said Kent Police.
