Kerry Katona moves in with mum sparking split fears with 'unsupportive' fiance Ryan Mahoney

Kerry Katona has ignited concerns over her relationship as fiancé Ryan Mahoney seems noticeably absent during her recovery from surgery, as she appears to have moved in with her mum.

The 43-year-old, who recently underwent an extensive eight-hour surgery to address damages caused by past drug abuse to her nose, had been keeping fans updated. However, she has expressed disappointment about her partners lack of presence since the procedure.

Kerry, nursing her wounds and seeking comfort in the company of her mum, Sue, stirred suggestions among fans regarding the future of their relationship according to reports in the Mirror.

She laid bare her feelings to OK! Magazine, stating: "I want to say a massive thank you to my mum, who has been my rock during the last couple of weeks. I've been staying at hers and she's really looked after me."

Ryan is set to be husband number four for the Atomic Kitten star. Kerry Katona has hinted at a rocky patch with her fiancé Ryan Mahoney.

She revealed: "If I'm honest, I've felt more lonely than ever during my recovery. Ryan was away getting a tattoo in London when I went into hospital and I haven't seen him since my surgery over a week ago. That upset me, because it made me feel unsupported and I could have done with the emotional support."

She continued: "I'm always the 'strong mum' in our house and this week I really wanted to be looked after and have him here, but I had my mum instead." Amid concerns from fans about the state of her relationship, Kerry's spokesperson stated they have "no comment."

Earlier in the year, Kerry expressed uncertainty about her wedding plans with fitness trainer Ryan, saying in January: "Ryan and I have been engaged for three years and I don't know if a wedding is on the cards this year. Maybe. We might just elope to Vegas - who knows! Lilly and her boyfriend might be before us."

The singer has also shared her apprehensions about marriage following her previous experiences. She first tied the knot with Westlife's Brian McFadden in 2002, only to divorce in 2006. Her second marriage was to taxi driver Mark Croft in 2007, which also ended in divorce by 2011.

Her third marriage was to rugby league player George Kay in 2014, but they separated in 2017 and he passed away two years later. She is the mother to five children: Molly, 18, Lilly, 17, Heidi, 13, Max, 12, and six year old DJ.
