Kim Kardashian is feeling 'more positive' about life following gunpoint ordeal

Kim Kardashian has understandably been taking some much-needed time out from the spotlight after she was held at gunpoint and robbed by masked men in her Paris hotel room earlier this month.

Kim was said to be “emotionally traumatised” following her horrific ordeal and her close friends and family have since admitted that she’s “not doing great”.

However, new sources have revealed that Kim is finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel - and we could not be happier for her.

Speaking to People magazine, the insider explained: “Kim had a quiet birthday celebration with Kanye, their kids, her sisters and Kris. It was Kim’s choice to not have a big celebration. She seemed very happy with her decision.

"She is still figuring out her life. She still has no plans for any work appearances, but her outlook on life seems more positive.

"She has calmed down a lot since the robbery.”

We’re certainly glad to hear it.

Kim’s sister Kourtney recently admitted that her sister is relying heavily on her close-knit family to get through this tough time, sharing: “She’s not doing great. I think we’re all really still shaken up.

"I think she has a big supportive family and I know that all the traumatic things that we’ve been through, we get through them together as a family.”

A sentiment echoed by their sister, Khloe, who also said at the time: “She’s not doing that well. It’s incredibly traumatic what happened to her, but our family is super close and great and we’ll get through it together.

"We do appreciate all of your guys’ love and support. It will take time. It was horrible what happened to her.”

We’re just glad to hear that Kim is getting all of the support that she needs at this rough time.
