The coronation of King Charles is fast approaching - and we want you to join the conversation with Yahoo’s live Q+A on 6 May.

The event will be the first of its kind since the Queen’s coronation in 1953 - meaning the vast majority of Brits will never have had the chance to see such a spectacle.

As part of Yahoo’s coverage, we want to know what questions you have about the event - and then we'll answer them for you.

For example…

  • What is the ‘St Edward’s Crown’ that Charles will be officially crowned with - and how much is it worth?

  • How much is the whole event going to cost - and who is paying for it?

  • What will some of the minor royals be doing on the day - and why isn’t Meghan going to be there?

  • What will Queen Camilla's official title be?

  • Why has Charles chosen a quiche to celebrate his coronation?

Email your questions to coronation-questions@yahooinc.com, including your first name, age and the town or country where you live. We will publish these details along with your question on the day of the coronation in our live coverage - details of which will be posted here closer to the day.

In the meantime, here are some details of the Royal Family's biggest event of the year to whet your appetite as much as the coronation quiche…
