Knifepoint robbers took smartphone from victim at Leatherhead station

A knifepoint robbery at Leatherhead railway station saw a smartphone and wireless headphones taken from the victim. Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident on Monday (April 22).

The victim alighted from a train at the Copthorne Road station between 11.30pm and 12am. Police said that the suspects stole his tech then ran off towards Kingston Road.

They have released full descriptions of two suspects along with the clothing they were reportedly wearing at the time of the attack.

Mole Valley Beat of Surrey Police said: "We are appealing for witnesses following a knifepoint robbery in Leatherhead on Monday 22 April. The incident took place between 11:30pm and midnight on Copthorne Road, Leatherhead after the victim got off the train at Leatherhead train station.

"The suspects stole a pair of black Sony wireless headphones and a Google Pixel 8 Pro, before running off towards Kingston Road. The first suspect is described as a White boy, 13-14 years old, 5’10”and of stocky build.

"He was wearing a black balaclava and a puffer jacket. The second suspect is described as a White boy, 13-14 years old, 5’6”,slim build, with brown curly hair. He was wearing a black balaclava and a puffer jacket.
