Kristen Bell has proven herself a real-life princess once again by offering vital support, and a bit of Disney magic, to residents stranded in Florida due to Hurricane Irma.

Only a few days after arranging safe accommodation for her Frozen co-star Josh Gad's family, Kristen has done the same for Dexter actress Jennifer Carpenter's grandmother and aunt.

Sharing Kristen's touching – and potentially life-saving – gesture, Jennifer told Twitter: "Gma&aunt were ready2 wear helmets N closet under eye of #HurricanIrma til @IMKristenBell found them a way out!!"

Speaking to HuffPost, Jennifer explained that she contacted Kristen after seeing what she had done for Josh. "I decided to reach out... and told her what we were up against.

"I wanted to see if they could sleep in the lobby of her hotel. Or in the hallway. Anything!"

Adding that the actress deserves "a lot of credit" for her actions, Jennifer said: "I also know that if Kristen could get all of them a room in a safer place, she would do it.

"She's like a battery that never loses her charge for the good fight."

But that's not all – as well as ensuring Jennifer's family had somewhere safe to weather the storm, Kristen has also been performing for residents to lift their spirits.

Sharing a little Disney magic, she performed Frozen's 'For the First Time in Forever' for children and their parents at a school being used as a shelter.

"When youre #singinginahurricane, your volunteer back up dancers can & will steal the show. Richard and Rebecca everyone! #hurricaneirma," she wrote on Instagram.

Kristen, we salute you.
