Kristen Bell shocked as her face is used in x-rated 'deepfake' clip
Kristen Bell has told of her shock after her face was used in a pornographic video.
The Good Place actress, 39, discovered that some explicit videos doing the rounds online had been manipulated to superimpose her face on to the bodies of porn performers.
Known as “deepfakes”, these type of videos see a form of artificial intelligence used to fabricate events that didn’t happen.
“I was just shocked, because this is my face,” the star told Vox. “Belongs to me!”

Bell said it was her hubby Dax Shepard who broke the startling news to her.
He was alerted to the videos by his close friend Two And A Half Men actor Ashton Kutcher.
“It’s hard to think about, that I am being exploited,” said mother-of-two Bell.
The actress said that although people may be told that the person in the videos is not actually her, it is still wrong as she did not give permission for her face to be used.
“You know, we are having this gigantic conversation about consent and I don't consent – so that's why it's not OK,” she said in a video on Vox’s website.
Bell is known for moves such as Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Bad Moms, and also voices the character of Anna in the Frozen films.
