Tonight marked the Let it Shine semi-finals and after performances from Iron Sun, Drive, Nightfall and Five to Five, another five boys have been eliminated from the show.

In the end, viewers' votes determined that the two least-favourite performances were from Iron Sun and the newly-formed Drive.

As a result, the two groups had to sing for survival – and this week, it was all about The Beatles.

Taking to the stage first was Iron Sun, who sang 'The Long and Winding Road' (a song that appeared on The Voice UK tonight too, funnily enough) – which was a massive improvement on their main performance.

Drive's choice of Beatles song was 'Something' and it too was a solid performance to follow Iron Sun's efforts.

In a pretty surprising move, the judges chose ALL the members of Drive to go through to the final, sending home Iron Sun's Alexis Gerred, Clinton Elvis, Harry Brown, Jordan Harvey and Matt Knight.

The five boys from Drive going through to the final are Mark Angels, Matt Thorpe, Jonnie Halliwell, Conor McLoughlin and Jazzie Mattis.

They join Bradley Johnson, Danny Colligan, Huw Roberts, Jason Brock and Julius Wright of Nightfall and AJ Bentley, Curtis T Johns, Nick Carlsberg, Sario Solomon and Yazdan Qafouri of Five to Five.

So, talking about the actual final, Robbie Williams will be appearing as the forth judge to help pick the final five lucky performers who will eventually take to the stage in Gary Barlow's new musical.

Robbie will be joining up with his old band buddies Gary, Mark Owen and Howard Donald for a performance of a Take That classic.

Let it Shine returns next Saturday (February 25) at 6.55pm on BBC One.
