Free Nando's on A Level results day 2018: How students can get freebie chicken

It’s not just A-Level results that students are able to collect this morning — the nerve-racked youngsters are also able to pick up a free meal at Nando’s.

Clearly believing that nothing is better at washing away months of anxious anticipation than poultry smothered in peri peri, the cheeky chicken chain is volunteering its services to those looking to celebrate — or commiserate.

If you’re collecting results on August 16 in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, simply show staff in any branch of Nando’s your result papers along with a form of ID to claim a free quarter chicken.

Students can also opt for a Fire-starter, which includes halloumi sticks and Nando's wings.

If you’re veggie you needn’t miss out, either. Other options including spicy mixed olives, and hummus with peri-peri drizzle will be available for a post-collection bite.

You’ll need to spend at least £7 to claim their freebie, but there’s no more of a catch than that.

And best of all Nando’s don’t care what results you got… if only the same could be said of your choice of uni.
