Lindsay Lohan lost half her finger in a gruesome boating accident

Lindsay Lohan has revealed the extent of a horrific injury suffered over the weekend when she tried to anchor a boat.

The 30-year-old star was forced to undergo emergency surgery to reattach half of her finger, but she considers herself lucky that she didn’t lost the entire thing.

Sharing a video of her bandaged finger on Snapchat, Lindsay explained: “This is the result of me trying to anchor the boat by myself. My poor finger.

“I almost lost my finger from the anchor. Well, I lost half my finger, thank goodness we found the piece of my finger… I just had surgery to fix it. It hurts so bad.”

Ooft, this is not a good #October3rd for her…

Despite the gruesome injury, Lindsay did celebrate ‘Mean Girls Day’ over on her Instagram account, sharing a screenshot of her and her friend’s conversation discussing the day.

In the chat, her friend Laura had asked Lindsay: “What day is it?” with Lindsay replying: “Hahahaha October 3rd, I caught you!”

October 3rd has become a pretty iconic day for Lindsay fans, with the date referencing the moment in Mean Girls where Lindsay’s character, Cady, tells her crush what date it is.
