Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold was drafted into England training on Tuesday.

With the World Cup just three months away, Gareth Southgate's preparations continue with warm-up friendlies against Holland and Italy over the next week.

Southgate's 27-man squad are at St George's Park ahead of Friday's match in Holland, with a number working on individual training schedules away from the main session on Tuesday.

Adam Lallana and Ryan Bertrand were among those inside, while Marcus Rashford, Jake Livermore and James Tarkowski left the main group before the session had finished.

Southgate brought England Under-21 defender Alexander-Arnold into the session to help bolster the numbers, with the teenager taking part in an attack versus defence drill towards the end of the session.

The 19-year-old has regularly rotated at Liverpool with England defender Joe Gomez this season, making 22 appearances in all competitions.
