Liverpool are being linked with a new forward and a new goalkeeper in the latest transfer rumours.

The Reds have a new head coach at the helm with Arne Slot replacing Jurgen Klopp in the Anfield hotseat this summer. Slot will take charge of pre-season training next month ahead of his first Premier League campaign in charge.

This summer has already seen Liverpool linked with a host of potential new signings. The transfer window officially opens on Friday, after which point the Reds will be able to agree deals for incoming players to move to Anfield.

It remains to be seen which players are genuine targets for Liverpool this summer, and which players are merely speculation with no basis of truth. The ECHO has taken a look at some of the latest transfer speculation doing the rounds online and across social media.

According to Spanish news outlet Sport, Liverpool are still in the running to sign Real Madrid star Rodrygo. The Reds have been credited with an interest in the Brazilian in recent weeks and the reports are not going away.

It has been claimed that Liverpool remain interested in signing Rodrygo and face competition from Manchester City for his signature. The report has suggested that the Reds would have made a £100 million offer to sign Rodrygo had the player requested to leave Madrid.

However, it has been claimed that had this happened, the La Liga giants would have rejected the offer. It has been stated, though, that Madrid would have accepted an offer worth €150 million (£127 million) to allow Rodrygo to leave the Santiago Bernabeu.

Elsewhere, Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Feyenoord goalkeeper Justin Bijlow. According to De Telegraaf, Bijlow is increasingly likely to join a Premier League club this summer.

As well as the Reds, Arsenal have also been previously linked with a move for the Feyenoord shot-stopper. Bijlow played under Slot at the Eredivisie club before the 45-year-old was named Liverpool's new head coach.
