In one black and white image, Summer and her dad are sitting next to each other flashing a smile for the camera. Another snap shows her as a child sleeping next to him, while several videos show the sport’s star making silly faces and joking around.

Hurley, 56, who was engaged to the late cricketer in the mid-2010s, commented on the lengthy post: "I love you, Summer. Your daddy worshipped you," followed by a red heart emoji.

Summer responded: ‘@elizabethhurley1 love u so much,’ with a red heart emoji.

Hurley’s son Damian also commented on the post with: "I love you so much," to which Summer replied: "@damianhurley1 Love you D." The 19-year-old also paid tribute to the star on Sunday just days after he was confirmed dead while on a "lad's holiday".

In a heartfelt Instagram post he called the cricket legend 'a father figure' while also labelling him 'one of the best men I've ever known'.

Damian wrote: 'I'm still trying to wrap my head around this… SW was a father figure to me for most of my formative years and was truly one the best men I've ever known.

"My heart is broken. Thinking of and sending love to all SW's family."

Summer is the daughter of Warne’s ex-wife Simone Callahan, who also recently shared unseen snaps of him in tribute. The former couple is also parents to Brooke, 24, and Jackson, 23.

Summer had revealed her shock at her father’s sudden death, saying:

“Moments before the world took you away from me, we were jamming to Summer of 69 and I’ve had the time of my life. Talking about how much you loved that song and seeing your smile light up the whole room while we danced and couldn’t stop laughing at each other. God you made me laugh dad," with a red heart emoji.

She continued: "Little did I know that was the last time I would ever see you dad [red heart emoji] I’d do anything to hear that laugh again, anything to hear your voice, anything to have one of your cuddles, anything to be with you again just one last time [red heart emoji]

"I wish in your final moments before you went off to heaven and before you took your last breathe that I could tell you everything was going to be okay, and to hold your hand and tell you how much I love and look up to you," with a red heart emoji.

She also admitted that she took their time together for granted, adding: “Our time was robbed and I wish you would come back to me. You may not be alive dad, but you will forever live inside my heart, I will cherish the memories till my time is up on this earth and I am reunited with you again…”
