LONDON (Reuters) - Lloyd's of London will keep its underwriting floor open on Wednesdays only between Nov 5 and Dec 2 due to a UK government lockdown announced for that period, it said on Tuesday.

The floor was shut for nearly six months from mid-March due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Lloyd's has asked its UK-based employees to work from home except for a few essential roles, it said in a statement.
