We've all been living under coronavirus lockdown rules for the last few months - and of course the royal family are no exception (remember that sweet clip of Prince William, Kate Middleton, George, Charlotte and Louis in their doorway clapping for carers, and all those video calls?). But it sounds as though one of the three children is having trouble sticking to all the measures put in place...

Speaking on BBC Breakfast, as part of a segment on Tiny Happy People (a new digital resource, providing support for parents and activities for kids), The Duchess of Cambridge revealed that her smallest child is having a tough time getting to grips with the idea of social distancing. To be fair, he is only two, the little mite.

While speaking to the parents of another two-year-old about how they've coped during the pandemic, Kate said, "I was just saying, Louis doesn't understand social distancing. So he goes out wanting to cuddle everything, particularly any babies younger than him." Erm... is this not the most adorable thing you've ever heard? This, along with his Mary Berry obsession, is quickly cementing Louis as the nation's newest sweetheart.

Then turning her attentions to the tot, a little boy named Dexter, The Duchess commented on his toy digger, saying, "Is that your digger? It's very nice. Louis would like that digger." Do we have a future builder in our midst? We're loving the idea of a Prince charging about on a building site in a yellow hard hat.

Kate also gave an update on her other two children, George and Charlotte, saying that they're big fans of eating and have developed some very healthy appetites (same). "My children have bottomless pits. I feel like a constant feeding machine."

The Tiny Happy People hub offers up free films, articles, quizzes and parenting tips that have been specially designed by experts to help to nurture children's language skills, even from pregnancy. The Duchess described it as "like gold dust [for parents]".

It's nice to see the royals back out and about as they carry out their duties, supporting and promoting organisations close to their hearts. ❤️
