The identity of a serial paedophile who teamed up with a female child rapist in a twisted relationship to sexually abuse children has been revealed.

Oliver Wilson has been convicted of 11 serious offences, including rape against a young girl.

A court order imposed to avoid prejudicing a separate sexual offences trial involving Wilson was lifted on Friday, meaning he can now be identified.

Wilson’s depraved sexual offending with Grimsby paedophile Rebecca Holloway will mean they are both given very long prison sentences, but it is only now that Wilson's crucial role in the shocking offences could be revealed.

Wilson, 38, was a Lolita fantasist who linked up with Holloway via the internet.

Her shocking crimes were first reported in August following a case described by a judge as one of the worst he had seen.

Both have admitted two offences of rape of a child, including on multiple occasions, and conspiracy to sexually assault a child under 13.

Holloway, 26, formerly of Rutland Street, Grimsby, also admitted making and distributing indecent images of children.

Wilson also admitted rape, assault by penetration and making indecent photographs of children.

They were caught when Lincolnshire Police came across 38-year-old Wilson during an online paedophile investigation.

He was showing "great interest in buying used children’s underwear on eBay."

Police raided his home in the Spalding area, and found evidence "highly sexualised and exceptionally graphic" conversations with Holloway about the serious sexual abuse of children after analysis of his phone and other devices.

He had been using the dark web over his use of images and there was an exchange of them during online chats with Holloway.

A copy of the Lolita movie - the controversial story of a middle-aged literature professor who becomes sexually involved with a young girl - and a bin bag of soiled children's clothes were found.

A photo of a young child was discovered on a phone.

They then went to Holloway’s home in Rutland Street, and found sexual images of children in her possession as well as a close-up picture of girls' underwear. Sex toys were also found.

It was discovered that a girl had been sexually abused and raped and another child had a sexual injury.

Wilson's involvement could not be reported until now because he had a separate, unconnected trial involving the repeated rape of a young girl.

The order has now been lifted and his link to Holloway can now be reported.

In the separate case, Wilson denied 11 sex offences, including five of rape, one of attempted rape, four of assault by penetration and another of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.

He was convicted by a jury at Grimsby Crown Court after a trial.

Sentence on Wilson was adjourned to link up with the case of Holloway and he was further remanded in custody. She is also in custody.
