There was a very embarrassing moment for Charlene White and Judi Love on Sunday night,. when the Loose Women stars were 'refused entry' to the BAFTA Television Awards

The ITV discussion programme was up for one of the top awards at the annual event, with it going up against the likes of Lorraine and Scam Interceptors in the Daytime category, with making the shortlist for its Loose Women & Men special. And, as well as losing out on the trophy to Scam Interceptors, the night didn't start too well for host Charlene and regular panellist and comedian Judi, as they were turned away by security at the door.

Determined to make an entrance to the BAFTAs, the pair danced their way up the red carpet at London's Royal Festival Hall to the sounds of Justin Timberlake hit Senorita, singing along as they strutted their stuff in front of fans and waiting paparazzi. However, as they then tried to saunter into the venue, their plans were thwarted when they were refused entry.

Unfortunately for Charlene and Judi, the moment was captured on camera, wit it becoming a talking point on Monday's episode of Loose Women, where Charlene had to explain that the reason she and Judi were turned away was because they didn't have their tickets. Charlene told her colleagues in the studio: "Someone said to them 'Well, they're obviously meant to be here, they're all dressed up' but the security guard went No!'

Revealing how awkward things got, Judi added: "We had to dance back out, dance passed all the paps and the people outside and stand and wait for our tickets."

Judi also had some explaining to do after a video of her apparently reacting 'badly' to Lorraine Kelly winning a special BAFTA quickly went viral, with the ex Strictly star claiming she was trying to 'act regal' rather than give an intentional side eye in response to Lorraine's success.
